Welcome to SACLA 2009
 |
In Cooperation with the ACM Special Interest Group on Computer Science
Education (SIGCSE). |
SACLA is a relatively informal association of people involved
in the teaching of Computer Science and Information Systems at universities throughout
Southern Africa. The main activity of SACLA is the annual conference, at which
issues concerning teaching and research in ICT in Southern Africa are discussed.
This year the annual conference, SACLA 2009, is being hosted by the
Department of Information Systems
and the Department of Computer Science
at Rhodes University.
The theme of the conference is "Connecting Students to the Future"
This year the conference dates coincide with the
Grahamstown National Arts
Festival (2-11 July 2009), so you could extend your stay and enjoy the arts,
crafts and sheer entertainment whilst in the Eastern Cape.
